Wrapped in the warmth of sunshine,
Embraced in the cool breeze of night,
Bestowed upon with the gracious grace,
She blossomed into an epitome of beauty.
Every heart beating, at her stupendous chime,
Every gaze mesmerized, by her marvellous sight,
Every breath marched to match her pace,
She welcomed the heed as her divine duty.
Every step she took, perfectly in line,
Every turn confirming with, what is right,
Sometimes her soul was tormented by the endless maze,
Sometimes she could drown in the blissful serenity.
Time may have weathered her gleeful gleam,
But the hauls of struggle could never dampen her might,
Her perseverance as gold, filled the crevices of her face,
She shone again as a perfect Kintsugi..
Every life.. however broken is beautiful..
Cos’ every moment keeps shaping away its trajectory,
Its only through the ups and downs of the journey,
Every soul.. ultimately becomes a unique Kintsugi..
Kintsugi (金継ぎ) is a traditional Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with lacquer mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. This technique not only restores the functionality of the object but also highlights its fractures and history as a beautiful and integral part of its life story. Rather than hiding the damage, Kintsugi celebrates it, embodying the philosophy that imperfections and scars are part of an object’s history and add to its beauty.Kintsugi is deeply tied to the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, which finds beauty in imperfection and transience. The practice is often seen as a metaphor for embracing flaws and setbacks in life, finding strength and beauty in what is broken and repaired.

😍 Nice dear…
Beautiful!! Very nice, Anju! Keep writing 👍
We are all broken, sometimes shattered in ways that feel beyond repair. All the cracks and breaks that our soul collects during this hard long journey of life. Yet, like Kintsugi, we gather the broken pieces and mend it with gold and silver, one piece at a time. Each one of us grows more beautiful with every imperfection and rise out of burning fire resilient like a phoenix reborn with fresh plumes and golden edges. The shimmering gold shining through the breaks transforms us into an even more beautiful art. Every crack scream a story of our strength and how we survived yet another fall.
Your poem made me cry! It is so beautiful and very well-written- I am not surprised though, you were always so poetic!Hope to see you write more
