Congratulations to the LBS CEKA Bangalore team (The Bangalore chapter of the College of Engineering Kasaragod Alumni) for winning the Pookalam competition at the Kerala Engineers’ Association 2024 Annual Day Celebration. The price was handed over by Dr Raju Narayanaswamy and the prize-winning entry was displayed at the entrance to the auditorium.
CEKA Bangaluru President Joesam Zachariah is a member of the KEA Advisory Committee. The CEKA team members whose creative energy behind this win include Anjana Ramachandran (ECE), Namitha Puthiyottil (CSE), and Sinu Antony (CSE) from our 1999 batch. Other LBS participants are Gokul Ullas from 2016 ECE and Akshay Soman from 2017 CSE
Kerala Engineers’ Association 2024 Annual Day Celebration was held on 24th November Sunday at Marathahalli New Horizon College Auditorium. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Raju Narayana Swamy(IAS, Principal Secretary), who lit the lamp in the presence of other dignitaries. Mr. Arjun (President, KEA) presided over the function while Mr. Shanoj (Secretary, KEA) delivered the welcome address. Dr. Raju Narayana Swamy rendered a very insightful inaugural address emphasizing the need for such organizations/events and their role in uplifting the Malayalee community in Bangalore. The formal inauguration was followed by cultural events including a drawing competition for kids and various stage performances.
