Member Highlight: Ramachandran ATK, ECE

Ladies and gentlemen, let’s take a moment to give a round of applause to our very own Ramachandran ATK from the ECE department—a man who’s been making headlines for all the right reasons (and not because of his attendance record)!

While most of us were busy climbing the corporate ladder, Ramachandran decided to take the road less traveled—or should I say, the road with a lot more action. First, he dipped his toes in the Kerala Toddy Welfare Fund (because why not? Let’s ask him when we meet), and then he leveled up to the Kerala Excise Department, where things started to get interesting.

Since 2010, our man has been on a mission—like the superhero we never knew we needed—to keep drugs and other dangerous substances out of our society. His list of achievements is nothing short of legendary. He’s nabbed 100 kg of banned tobacco products (that’s enough to roll a carpet with!), seized MDMA worth 8 lakhs (because no party drugs on his watch!), and stopped around 2 crores of money laundering (someone’s got to keep the cash clean!).

As the youth of today finds itself in a sticky situation with substance abuse, we, the grateful parents, can’t help but thank Ramachandran for playing the ultimate game of cops and robbers—and winning.

Kudos, my friend! Keep being the hero we all need and making the world a safer (and much more exciting) place!
